Minerama introduced this new field trip to the line-up last year (2009) and it proved to be a huge success. While we recognise that Minerama attracts a large number of very keen and experienced fossickers, we are also getting increasing numbers of newcomers to the hobby.
The "Salt and Pepper" tour is designed for those new to fossicking who may benefit from some guidance and tuition in an "easy digging" setting. Perfect for families - great outing for the kids.
Just to make it a bit more interesting, this site is in a Mystery Location - you wont need a 4WD to get there (normal car is fine) and you'll be led to the site by your trip guide.
This trip is open to everyone but we do suggest that experienced fossickers will prefer the more challenging locations.
Tickets are available from 8:30am at the rea of the Services Club - $11 for adults and $4 for children. Remember, tickets for TRIP G on Saturday include a free entry into our Cash Prize Giveaway but you need to be at the Club auditorium for the draw to claim your prize.
